Evaluate
Your Screening Procedure. It should:
1)
Be simple and safe to administer,
2)
Be sensitive enough to pick up a cancer at an early stage,
3)
Have few false positive and false negative results,
4)
Detect a cancer that is frequent enough in the population
to make it worthwhile doing large scale testing,
4)
Be cost effective and, importantly,
5)
Detect a cancer for which effective therapy is available.
