Current Progress
We are now entering the final phase of renovation and construction at Calvert Memorial Hospital. The first phase of the outpatient concourse is now open and work has begun on the existing front lobby. Visitors enter through the existing front door, but will be routed directly into the new concourse. A temporary information desk is staffed with volunteers providing directions and maps to other areas of the hospital. This first phase of the new concourse is home to the chapel and chaplain's office, cashier, the temporary same day surgery registration and waiting area, administration and the temporary gift shop. Once the existing lobby renovation is finished, the gift shop and same day surgery waiting area will move back to their normal location and cardiac rehabilitation and the vascular lab will move into the grand concourse. The second phase of the concourse, which is scheduled to open sometime in April, will include an outpatient pain management center, a new cancer resource library, triage, registration, security office and the infusion therapy center.
This is an exciting time for Calvert Memorial! We appreciate your patience as we grow.
