| CMH surveys community about health issues
Early replies eligible for $250 prize drawing
Calvert Memorial wants to hear from local residents. Inside its newsletter Healthy Outlook is a survey asking readers for their opinions about the hospital. All replies postmarked by Aug. 27 will be entered into a drawing for a $250 Visa® gift card.
"Calvert Memorial is the community's hospital," said Kasia Sweeney, director of public relations and marketing at CMH. "We're always asking our customers, 'How can we improve?''" She said this information will help CMH plan new services and programs.
The multiple-choice survey has 10 questions and a section for comments. Residents are asked to rate the technology available at CMH, the quality of the nursing care and the helpfulness of the staff. The hospital also wants to know how residents obtain information about its programs and services and whether they would consider working there.
"Through surveys, such as this, our patients provide us with valuable feedback," said Sweeney, "that we use to serve our community better."
Earlier this year, CMH launched "Excellence in Action" aimed at improving the level of service and satisfaction experienced by everyone who visits or is treated at the hospital. The campaign involves the entire organization and reaches 1,000+ employees.
