Patient Privacy
At CMH, your privacy is important to us. We understand that medical information about you and your health is personal. For this reason, the hospital has numerous policies and procedures in place to protect your personal health information.

At the time of admission, you will receive a copy of the CMH privacy notice and asked if you want to be listed in the hospital's "patient directory", which allows us to inform others of your presence, location and condition.   Please review the privacy notice carefully. It explains when and how your personal health information may be used or released. It also outlines how you can access your medical record and your rights to see, copy and amend your information.  

We advise you to someone to be your spokesperson and ask him or her to keep family and friends informed during your hospital stay. This ensures reliable communication while maintaining your privacy.
