Cancer Care Coordinator
As Calvert Memorial Hospital's first Cancer Care Coordinator – and th only one in the region, Mary Emma Middleton's job is to meet your needs. A nurse practitioner with 15 years of experience in cancer care, Mary Emma is the community resource for cancer patients, their family members and friends. And she will be there for you, every step of the way.

Mary Emma can:

• Help answer your questions about your diagnosis and treatment options.
• Coordinate the services you need, from further testing and treatment through follow-up care, such as chemotherapy and radiation.
• Put you in touch with services that will make the process a little easier, such as support groups, nutrition counseling and pain management.
• Guide you through the process, whether you use the services of Calvert Memorial Hospital or a tertiary care center, like Children's Hospital or Washington Hospital Center, or any other healthcare provider.
• Be your personal advocate for compassionate, coordinated quality cancer care, every step of the way.
