The Center for Vascular Care

Physicians from the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Group at Washington Hospital Center have joined the medical staff at Calvert Memorial Hospital to form the Center for Vascular Care--a partnership which will make the region's top vascular surgeons locally accessible. These board-certified vascular surgeons are nationally recognized for their excellence in the cardiovascular field. Their expertise and the advanced technology available at CMH allow the same level of care at metropolitan hospitals, close to home.

The CMH vascular team includes Dr. Sean O'Donnell, Dr. Cameron Akbari, Dr. Bruce Smith, Dr. Frederick Beavers and Dr. John Pietropaoli.

In addition, Dr. Nancy Clark joined the multidisciplinary Wound Care Center as medical director. The board certified vascular surgeon has eight years experience treating patients with complex circulation or blood flow problems.
