Interventional Radiology
Our integrated approach to vascular disease care combines the expertise of specialists and technology to form a medical team dedicated to giving patients comprehensive care. The team includes experts in vascular medicine and surgery, radiology and cardiology. The director is a board-certified vascular surgeon trained at the Mayo Clinic. The team works closely with a patient's primary care physician and coordinates with other specialists as needed. Calvert's angiography suite provides state-of-the-art imaging for vascular exams. The advanced technology improves diagnostic results while reducing radiation, contrast media and exam time. Board-certified radiologists who specialize in interventional radiology are able to treat a variety of vascular disorders with the use of advanced catheters, balloon angioplasty and interventional devices.
