Health Screenings
CMH offers a variety of heart-related health screenings at the main hospital campus, the Solomons Medical Center, the Dunkirk Medical Center and the Twin Beaches Community Health Center.
Cholesterol Testing Plus
This one-stop screening provides a full coronary risk profile including:
- HDL level
- LDL level
- Total cholesterol level
- Triglyceride level
- Blood pressure check
- Glucose test for diabetes

Blood Pressure Screening
Offered for free in the main hospital building on the third Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Just drop in – no appointment needed.
Vascular Screening
This screening uses ultrasound equipment to create images of your blood flow and detect blocked arteries. Risk factors for vascular disease include smoking, high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol and family history of cardiovascular disease. Recommended for individuals over age 10.
