The Women's Center
The Women's Center, affiliated with Calvert Memorial Hospital, offers all aspects of women's health care and is staffed by two female obstetricians/gynecologists, Dr. Aparajita Mahata and Dr. Mitra Nassiraee, who are currently accepting new patients. Both physicians specialize in adult and adolescent gynecology, complete OB care and family planning. In addition, Dr. Mahata is trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and incontinence management.

Dr. Mahata sees patients in Suite 210 of the Calvert Medical Office Building and in the Dunkirk Medical Center, Suite 102. For an appointment, call 410-535-2054.

Dr. Nassiraee sees patients in Suite 210 of the Calvert Medical Office Building and Suite 2400 at the Solomons Medical Center. She can be reached at 410-535-0649.

The Women's Center also includes the CMH Woman's Wellness program, which provides for the early detection and intervention of breast and cervical cancer. Now you can have your yearly check-up and mammogram in one easy visit with our female nurse practitioner, Lacy Pitman.

You can make an appointment with Lacy for a mammogram and well-woman exam at our Dunkirk location on Mondays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and our Solomons location on Thursdays from 9 a.m - 5 p.m. Exams are free for women who qualify. To schedule an appointment or for more information, call 410-286-7992.
